‍
The power of the collective One collective , it is above all a group of organizations that join forces around common values and goals. At DUO for a JOB, we are members of three in France:
The Mentoring Collective : founded in 2019 by eight associations, it now brings together 73 organizations. Its mission: to allow each young person to benefit from a quality mentoring program to develop their skills and self-confidence, choose their orientation and integrate professionally; to structure the mentoring ecosystem in France. The Elevator : this collective brings together a community of nearly 100 associations committed to equal opportunities.Work With Refugees (WWR) : composed of 9 associations, its aim is to become the head of the network for solutions for the employment of refugees in France.Joining these groups allows us to:
Making the voices of the audiences we support heard and strengthening our collective impact Develop joint projects Sharing our expertise while learning from others. ‍
Working collectively for an associative actor means sharing strengths, visions and know-how to defend a more just and inclusive society.
Three ambitions for a collective commitment Concretely, this collective commitment is reflected in three major ambitions:
1. Carry common messages To be a member of national groups is Carry strong messages together with public authorities, businesses and the general public and value our collective impact. Mentoring, professional integration, the fight against discrimination, valorization of the experience of seniors...
As indicated by the Mentoring Collective: “Every young person who needs a helping hand, because they cannot find the support they need in their immediate environment, must be able to access a mentor, have this right to mentoring.” Â
By uniting our voices, we ensure that the problems of the audiences we serve are known, recognized and supported in all relevant bodies.
2. Develop joint projects Committing to a collective also means working hand in hand with other associations sharing the same values. By pooling our efforts, we develop joint projects, designed to support young people in all dimensions of their career: employment, training, inclusion, mobility, self-confidence...
These dynamics make it possible to multiply our impact and to enrich our approach thanks to the complementarity of expertise. By thinking about the social and professional support of our audiences in a global, complete and complementary way, we act together on all aspects for a lasting and effective impact.
3. Sharing tools and practices Collectives are also spaces for learning and exchange . In it, we share tools, methods and feedback to improve our programs and professionalize mentoring. This ongoing exchange feeds our continuous improvement.

Our concrete commitment to groups ‍
At DUO for a JOB, our involvement is not limited to Symbolic membership ! We participate actively in the life and the orientations of groups:
At the strategic level : we sit on the boards of directors of the Mentoring Collective and of Work With Refugees; we participate in national or local advocacy actions with public authorities and decision-makers On the ground : we hold joint stands at job fairs for refugees, we participate in thematic working groups, co-build support systems, respond to calls for joint projects, etc. Together we are creating a more inclusive society For DUO for a JOB, working with groups is therefore obvious! By joining forces with other committed actors, we advance professional integration, equal opportunities and social cohesion.
Mentoring, as the Mentoring Collective recalls, makes it possible to “strengthening social cohesion and giving young people confidence in their future” . At DUO for a JOB, this is exactly what we aim for: create bridges between generations, fight against prejudices and open up the field of possibilities .
Together, we take our values to the next level: inclusiveness, social impact and the promotion of diversity.
