Our impact

The innovative aspects of our mentoring program are linked to its intergenerational, and inclusive nature, its approach, and the very structure of the organization.

Current societal challenges

🎯 Ambitious employment rate

Governments have set an employment rate target of 80% by 2030. To achieve this employment rate, supporting young people with an immigrant background is a priority.

🫥 Labour shortage

La pénurie de main-d’œuvre en France touche toutes les entreprises. Selon France Travail, 57,4 % des recrutements sont actuellement jugés difficiles par les entreprises

🐙 End-of-career planning

Employability and lifelong learning have become key priorities for both private employers and the government.

💔 Polarization of society

The lack of connections between citizens and generations creates significant tensions and hinders the formation of a cohesive society.

Our impact on mentees

The personalized and intensive mentoring approach helps overcome the specific barriers faced by job seekers with an immigration background, particularly young NEETs and individuals experiencing long-term unemployment.

Beyond the employment outcomes, mentoring also enables these young people to develop valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Our impact on mentors

Mentors draw on the experience gained throughout their careers, as well as the training and guidance provided by DUO for a JOB, to offer the best possible support to their mentees. In return, mentees share their life experiences, projects, ambitions, and doubts.

This creates a true "win-win" situation, allowing each mentor to stay active, feel useful, challenge their prejudices, value their skills, and develop new ones.

Benefits for businesses?

Employers today are focused on managing diversity within their organizations. Additionally, with the extension of careers and continuous learning, managing the end of careers has become a priority. By promoting mentoring, they can:

And for society?

Society is becoming increasingly diverse in terms of culture and origins. This diversity is a source of social, cultural, and economic progress, but it also presents challenges for social cohesion. DUO for a JOB mentoring allows you to:
