A recognition that validates our unique methodology ‍
Issued by the Mentoring Collective and audited by Deloitte, this distinction is based on European standards scientifically recognized for their effectiveness and comes confirm the quality and impact of our support program.
As Prunelle Gorget, our France Director, points out: “This label recognizes the quality of our commitment to quality mentoring for youth employment. This reinforces our choices in terms of support, training and evaluation, and encourages us to pursue our mission in the service of impact with rigor and fidelity to our DNA.”
‍
Our DNA: high-quality intergenerational mentoring Since our arrival in France in 2019, we have been convinced of one thing: generations have a lot to contribute to each other. That dialogue between those who are looking for their place and those who have already come a long way could lead to the emergence of new perspectives.
And to make it work, we rely on a solid method that we have been refining for years:
- In-depth training for our mentors
- Personalized follow-up of the duos
- A continuous assessment of our impact
For our mentors, our young people, our financial and institutional partners, this label is a guarantee of trust. It certifies that our program meets the highest international quality standards, thus guaranteeing the social impact that we generate together.
Today, DUO for a JOB has 4 branches in France, in Paris, Paris, Marseille, Lille and Lyon, which allow young people and their mentors to be supported locally. More than 1,800 duos have already been trained in France, concrete proof of our commitment to creating relationships and promoting professional integration throughout France.
‍
Real results that change lives In a context where inequalities in access to employment persist, our program provides a concrete and effective response. The figures speak for themselves: nearly 70% of young people supported by DUO for a JOB find a positive solution (employment, training, internship) within 6 months following the program.
Our approach allows young people to:
- Develop their autonomy
- Increase their visibility on the labour market
- Access diversified professional opportunities
- Strengthen their self-confidence
For mentors, this commitment is also a source of personal enrichment and transmission after a long professional career. Proof of this shared wealth? 8 out of 10 mentors choose to repeat the experience after initial support!
‍
A label that is part of a larger movement This certification comes at a key moment when mentoring is establishing itself as a structuring tool for public policy in France, in particular thanks to the “1 young person, 1 mentor” plan, which has made it possible to considerably broaden the impact of this approach.
We are particularly proud to be founding members of the Mentoring Collective, created in 2019 with the ambition of offering a mentor to every young person who needs one.
Through this certification process, the Collective aims to guarantee the quality and impact of mentoring actions, without ever losing sight of the essential: the human dimension of this support.
We are also delighted to share this great milestone with La Cravate Solidaire, also labeled with one star for the solidity of its support towards employment.
This recognition encourages us to pursue our mission with ever greater rigor and ambition: to train even more mentors, to support even more young people... and to make mentoring a real lever for inclusion on a large scale.
