Le 5 décembre, c’est la Journée mondiale des bénévoles, l’occasion de célébrer celles et ceux qui s’engagent chaque jour pour rendre notre société plus inclusive et solidaire. En France, plus de 13 millions de personnes consacrent une partie de leur temps à des actions bénévoles, dans des associations, des collectifs, ou encore auprès de projets sociaux et éducatifs. Sans elles, beaucoup d’organisations ne pourraient tout simplement pas fonctionner.

October 10 marks World Mental Health Day, and this is particularly relevant in France, where mental health was designated a Major National Cause this year. At DUO for a JOB, we know how important this question is and we see every day that our mentoring program really contributes to the well-being of supported young people and volunteer senior mentors.

Since 2019, DUO for a JOB has been developing its intergenerational mentoring program in Île-de-France. For many reasons, Seine-Saint-Denis is a territory that makes sense to deploy our program and our actions in favor of the professional integration of young people, the valorization of the experience of seniors and social ties.
