Chez DUO for a JOB, nous concentrons nos efforts sur notre cœur de métier, le mentorat intergénérationnel. En accompagnant nos duos, nous agissons à la croisée de plusieurs enjeux sociaux et sociétaux majeurs : l'insertion professionnelle des jeunes, la valorisation des compétences et le maintien dans l'emploi des plus de 50 ans, l'intégration des personnes primo-arrivantes, la lutte contre les discriminations liées à l'origine, l'égalité des chances et la cohésion sociale. Parce que ces enjeux sont multiples et interconnectés , rejoindre plusieurs collectifs d’acteurs engagés sur nos sujets nous est apparu essentiel pour travailler de manière transversale ; faire rayonner le mentorat et les priorités de nos publics ; contribuer à notre niveau à montrer la force de frappe et les impacts sociétaux indispensables du secteur associatif en France.

This is a first in France, and a great recognition for the work carried out for more than 5 years by our teams at DUO for a JOB France: our mentoring program has just obtained the 3-star quality label, i.e. the highest level of excellence awarded by the Mentoring Collective.

Today, according to the most recent international estimates, nearly 281 million people live outside their country of origin. Behind this figure are Vanessa, Ibrahim, Aisha, Hazim and the challenges they face every day in their host country. We are convinced that intergenerational mentoring can be a real lever for integration for these young people who have had to leave everything behind.

Alinawid, 25 ans, a quitté l’Afghanistan pour fuir la terreur menée par le régime des Talibans. Ici, il rêve d’un avenir meilleur et s’en rapproche grâce à l’association Duo for a job. Il vient d’obtenir un CDI, dans un restaurant italien.

Thanks to the DUO for a JOB association, volunteer mentors put their experience at the service of young people with an immigration background to help them find employment. A human and united adventure that gives meaning to their retirement.

This is a first in France: two associations obtain the Mentoring Label, created by the Mentoring Collective to promote and strengthen the quality of mentoring programs, through the evaluation of 47 standards.
