Retour sur une première année de mentorat intergénérationnel au cœur de la Duchère. ‍

At DUO for a JOB, we focus our efforts on our core business, intergenerational mentoring. By supporting our duos, we act at the crossroads of several major social and societal challenges: the professional integration of young people, the enhancement of skills and the retention of people over 50 in employment, the integration of first-time arrivals, the fight against discrimination based on origin, equal opportunities and social cohesion. Because these challenges are multiple and interconnected, joining several groups of actors committed to our subjects seemed essential to us to work transversely; to promote mentoring and the priorities of our audiences; to contribute at our level to showing the strength of strike and the essential societal impacts of the associative sector in France.

This is a first in France, and a great recognition for the work carried out for more than 5 years by our teams at DUO for a JOB France: our mentoring program has just obtained the 3-star quality label, i.e. the highest level of excellence awarded by the Mentoring Collective.

Vanessa, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, arrived in France in 2011. After being regularized in 2022, she decided to resume her studies with the help of her mentor Maartine. Together, they worked on her resume and her search for an apprenticeship, which led Vanessa to become a Community Manager. 🚀💼
