When Laraib arrived in Paris from Pakistan last year, everything was new to her. The language, the transport system, the social norms… and above all, she had no idea what direction she wanted to take in her professional life.
It was at DUO for a JOB that she met Hà, a business owner trying out mentoring for the first time, never imagining that such a strong bond would form. Over the course of their meetings, between job interview practice and small daily victories, their relationship took on a whole new dimension.
Six months later, Laraib is continuing her French classes and moving forward with more motivation than ever. She navigates public transport on her own, has a clearer idea of where she wants to go, and feels ready to take on new challenges. As for Hà, she watches her with pride: the pride of seeing someone gain independence and confidence, day after day 🥹
