Wasil arrived from Afghanistan in August 2018, and quickly started looking for a job to support himself. In September 2023, he knocked on DUO for a JOB’s door on the advice of someone close to him. Highly motivated and ready to build his career plan, he met Gilles, one of our mentors renowned for his humour and sunny personality. Since then, Wasil has landed a fixed-term contract in logistics at Zara. His team is so impressed that he was quickly offered a full-time permanent contract! The adventure doesn’t end there for this duo. Wasil now wants to study IT, accompanied by his mentor, who “always has his fist up” to help him.
