DUO for a JOB’s impact is present on three levels: that of the young people we support, that of the mentors we train and that of the the social connections we foster.
Thanks to the personalised support of their mentor, a majority of the young people have an easier access to the job market. But more importantly the mentoring, allows them to develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives: autonomy, self-confidence, knowledge of the resources and job search channels, etc.
Mentors find real satisfaction in developing new skills and in committing to a voluntary action of active citizenship. Being able to pass on their knowledge allows them to feel useful and to partake in an enriching human adventure.
